Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 September 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Africa Bid Hub platform and related consultancy services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Africa Bid Group (Pty) Ltd ("Africa Bid Group", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About the Service
Africa Bid Hub is a software-as-a-service platform that provides tender intelligence, opportunity matching, proposal workspace tools, document management and related business-development support to registered users. Subscription plans and one-off consultancy engagements may be offered from time to time.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have the authority to enter into these Terms and that you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to: violate any law or regulation; infringe intellectual property or other proprietary rights; send spam, phishing messages or other unsolicited communications; interfere with the security, availability or performance of the Service; reverse engineer, scrape or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service; misrepresent your identity or submit fraudulent tender or proposal information.
5. Intellectual Property
All software, content, branding, documentation and other materials provided through the Service remain the property of Africa Bid Group or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your internal business purposes during the term of your subscription.
6. Subscriptions, Payments and Cancellations
Subscription fees are billed through our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and provides customer service inquiries and handles returns. By subscribing, you authorise Paddle to process your payment method in accordance with your selected billing cycle.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing section of your account or through Paddle's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and you will retain access until that date.
7. Service Level
We aim to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Tender data is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal, financial or procurement advice.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our acceptable use standards.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Africa Bid Group's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
